Wedding details not to miss – as seen on real Ibiza Weddings
When planning your destination weddings, between venue scouting and vet vendor it’s easy to forget about the little things! But don’t stress, we’re about to help you remember them. You might need a little lighting love, a creative menu card idea or a really tasty wedding favour. Whatever boxes you have to check off, get inspired by our tips and tricks for some of the most looked-over planning details.
Directions and signs
You don’t want your guests getting lost, especially here in Ibiza where you don’t always have a clear street address. If you spell it out for them, they’re more likely to be on time and the entire day has a better chance of running smoothly. The easiest way is to include a Google Maps on your wedding website so guests know exactly where they’re going. On the wedding day, create signage for each wedding spot (the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) directing guests where to go.
The Menu Cards
Complement your wedding stationery with coordinated menu cards. This will add an extra stylish touch to your table setting. The design can be as much formal or informal as you like.
The lighting
Use decorative hanging lights, lamps with patterned shades or crystal chandeliers to transform a space from plain to enchanting. String lights can be used just about anywhere, whether it’s to create a faux ceiling effect or connect a large reception space together.
The Pop Up Bar
The bar is a spot that most of your guests will visit at least couple of times throughout the night, so make sure is well stocked. Add a burst of colour or personalised décor element to make it more fun.
The Favours
Favours aren’t a necessity, but they’re a nice way to show your appreciation to your guests. If you’re looking for a cute thank-you gift that your guests will actually enjoy, we always recommend something edible. If you are planning your wedding on a beach, why not think about useful beach-related wedding favours.
