A wedding in paradise – Ibiza charming wedding destination.

Ibiza is easily one of the most romantic places to get married in the world – with it’s beautiful blue sky, turquoise waters and relaxing vibes…The perfect location for a sun kissed destination wedding!

The island has been the perfect backdrop to countless celebrity weddings and celebrations and it’s easy to see why Parastoo and Peter felt the same and picked the island to celebrate their love with their friends and family.

We are loving the romantic and dainty details of their cliffside shoot, the all-white theme, the delicious food and of course, the bride’s gorgeous dress.

Parastoo and Peter, together with their loved ones, made the most of the days before the wedding in the beautiful Can Furnet – a charming rural house surrounded by Ibizan countryside and hills. The days leading up to the big day they were all about enjoying the island and having a good time, and as a surprise for their guests, the couple arranged a little trip to Fomentera – such a nice treat, sounds fab doesn’t it?

On the day of the wedding, the pair had an all white theme, a beautiful outdoor ceremony, followed by a fun party reception – it is Ibiza after all! The ceremony and reception was held at Casa Colonial, a cosy old finca which perfectly embodies the magical spirit of the island. Here the couple got married with a beautiful spiritual blessing performed by Jon Michell. After invoking the four directions (East, South, West and North), the couple honour and interact with each of the four elements: water, fire, air and earth, so that their presence may strengthen and bless the union for many years.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds didn’t have to venture too far for some gorgeous portraits with Studio Mr Smith.

When it came to planning their destination wedding, Parastoo and Peter had a few priorities. To start with, delicious food and lots of drink for all the guests who had travelled to Ibiza to share their special day! Casa Colonial was the right choice for this, as they are known around the island for their outstanding food and beautiful location.

In between a delicious meal, the guests enjoyed some drinks and were entertained with exceptional artists. The night went on ‘till late night with music and DJ’s.

Huge congratulations to you both and thanks so much for sharing your wedding day with us all! A big thank you also goes to Studio Mr Smith an Casa Colonial for sharing their work with us.
